The Challenge
Live Online Music Lessons initially approached us for ad-hoc website support while they continued to improve their platform over time. The website was already live and generating traffic, but it lacked technical consistency, clear SEO direction, and a structured plan for sustainable growth.
Key challenges included: fragmented user journeys, technical SEO warnings, inconsistent heading hierarchy, and content that wasn’t fully aligned with real search behaviour. Alongside this, the business was undergoing wider changes, including a domain transition, a full rebrand of an additional platform, and the need to manage compliance updates without disrupting existing performance.
The challenge was to stabilise the website technically, improve usability and clarity, and introduce a long-term SEO framework that could support measurable growth without risking regressions or short-term fixes.
Our Solution
We approached the project as ongoing strategic optimisation, rather than a single intervention.
Initial work focused on integrating key third-party systems, including the Momence booking platform, ensuring functionality aligned with the user journey without introducing performance or UX issues. GDPR compliance updates were implemented to meet regulatory requirements while keeping disruption to a minimum.
From there, we addressed UX and UI improvements across the site, refining structure, navigation, and content presentation to improve clarity and usability. Alongside general website updates, we managed a full rebrand and non-indexing of a secondary platform, ensuring search engines and users were clearly directed to the correct properties.
Technical SEO work focused on improving heading hierarchy, resolving structural inconsistencies, implementing redirects following the domain change, and strengthening blog and product page foundations. All actions were informed by analytics and Google Search Console data, allowing decisions to be driven by real performance rather than assumptions.
To support long-term growth, we produced a detailed SEO plan for 2026, defining clear KPIs, technical baselines, content priorities, and a quarterly delivery roadmap. This ensured improvements could be made systematically, with progress measured and adjusted over time.
